Projects

Road work is being planned for after the first good rain this Fall.   The last road work ordered by the TAPPOA was so poorly done that drainage ruts have formed on many roads where the berms placed during road work closed off natural runoff drainage sites.  Also, years of gravel applications and road crowning was removed during that work.  Some areas are particularly damaged by heavy traffic during the wet season.

We are encouraging landowners to send in their $60 road fee to LATAP (see Contact section) so we can bring the equipment in to do this work.  We already have five volunteers who have significant road construction employment histories and are willing to do this work because it needs to be done --- not to make money on it!

Please join us in fixing our roads!  Call, write, or email us for more information.  As the work progresses we will post new information on this site.
